Mobile Mechanical Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Marc's Mobile Solutions! As a customer, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

Service Agreement

When you schedule a service, please ensure that all information you:

  • provide is accurate including vehicle information, contact information, and location

  • you authorize us to perform inspection and/or repair services

  • you authorize us to perform any road tests that are needed to properly assess the issue

  • you agree to pay for the services requested or approved on-site

Estimates &
Fees

Customers will receive written estimates of costs before any work or repairs are charged, unless:

  • The customer opts out of an estimate and specifies a maximum amount they are willing to pay

  • The actual cost of the work falls within that maximum amount

 

Please note that there may be a fee for estimate, but this will be communicated to the customer beforehand.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

You can cancel your appointment without any penalty up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. Please note that last-minute cancellations significantly affect our small business, and cancellations made within this timeframe may incur a $40 call-out fee to cover the missed appointment.

 

In the event that we need to cancel, or reschedule due to weather, emergencies, or availability, we will notify you right away.

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you acknowledge the following:

  • Collaborate with the technician during diagnostics and service

  • Ensure that pets and children remain at a safe distance at all times

  • Adhere to appointment schedules and provide safe access to vehicle.

 

We reserve the right to terminate service if unsafe conditions exist or if our staff is treated disrespectfully.

Invoicing & Payment

All service pricing is provided prior or after diagnostics with fair pricing and no hidden fees. 

 

An invoice will be provided upon completion of the work, including all applicable taxes.

Payment is due upon completion of the job. A lien may be placed on your vehicle if it is not paid (Repair and Storage Liens Act).

Prices are subject to change without notice. We will always inform you before proceeding with any chargeable service.

Warranty & Liability

Under the Consumer Protection Act, the Repair Warranty provides a coverage of 90 days or 5,000 km (whichever comes first) for parts and labour.

 

If recently repaired vehicle becomes unsafe or breaks down within this timeframe due to faulty repairs MARC'S MOBILE SOLUTIONS will reimburse the repair costs and any towing expenses incurred.

 

The warranty applies to parts supplied by Marc's Mobile Solutions and labour performed.

 

We are not accountable for pre-existing issues or damage unrelated to our specific work.

 

The warranty is void if the vehicle is altered, abused, or repaired by an unauthorized party after our service.

 

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, as well as delays or failures resulting from weather, traffic, third suppliers, or emergencies, nor for losses stemming from inaccurate provided by the customer or parts purchased by the customer.

CPS, 2002

The Consumer Protection Act, 2002, provides you with rights in relation to having a motor vehicle repaired. Among other things, you have a right to a written estimate. A repairer may not charge an amount that is more than ten (10) per cent above that estimate. If you waived your right to an estimate, the repairer must have your authorization of the maximum amount that you will pay for the repairs. The repairer may not charge more than the maximum amount you authorized. In either case, the repairer may not charge for any work you did not authorize.

If you have concerns about the work or repairs performed by the repairer or about your rights or duties under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002, you should contact the Ministry of Consumer and Business Services.
