Handyman Terms & Conditions
A handyman contract is a legally binding agreement between a client and a handyman or general maintenance provider. It outlines the terms, scope of work, responsibilities, and payment arrangements related to repair, renovation, or maintenance services. These contracts protect both parties by ensuring clear communication, accountability, and legal recourse in case of disputes.
Services & Disclaimer
MARC'S MOBILE SOLUTIONS offers general residential and commercial handyman repairs, including, but not limited to, handyman repairs, debris removal, painting, drywall, furniture assembly, carpentry, installation, and property maintenance.
There is no specific "handyman license" in Ontario that covers all handyman services.

MARC'S MOBILE SOLUTIONS reserves the right to refuse unsafe jobs, outside of our expertise, or in violation of any laws and regulations.

All work performed will be within the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon between MARC'S MOBILE SOLUTIONS and the client.

Service Requests & Quotes
Clients may request a quote or estimate by contacting us. We will furnish a quote for the requested service(s). All quotes are valid for 14 days. Please note that quotes are estimates only, and the final price may vary depending on the services performed. Quotes are not guaranteed and represent an approximation of the project requirements as described by the client. The actual cost may change after all project elements have been negotiated and finalized. Clients will be informed of any cost changes in advance.
Deposits & Payments
For larger projects, we may require a deposit prior to scheduling.
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service(s). We accept cash, cheque, or e-transfer only. Unpaid invoices are subject to interest charges.
Scheduling & Cancellation
After accepting a quote, you will be scheduled a time and date for your service(s). You must provide 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel any scheduled service(s). Failure to provide proper notice may result in a cancellation fee.
Guarantee
We guarantee the service(s) that we perform in a professional manner. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, please notify us within 7 days after the completion of the service(s). The client must notify MARC'S MOBILE SOLUTIONS of any issues within this timeframe, and the issue will be reviewed.

This is only exclusive and applicable to the specific service(s). It covers errors in workmanship and reasonable use and wear for 7 days. It does not over client-supplied material, damage caused by external events, misuse or neglect, and items not included in the original agreement.

Liability
MARC'S MOBILE SOLUTIONS will perform all tasks to the best of capabilities and in line with industry standards. However, we ensure that every issue will be completely resolved if they originate underlying conditions. MARC'S MOBILE SOLUTIONS is not liable for:

Pre-existing damage or defects: This covers damage from faulty materials, improper, or wear and tear that existed prior to our work.

Consequential damages: Any indirect or incidental damages resulting from the work completed, such as damage to other property or loss of use. -

Loss of use or income: We are not responsible for financial losses incurred by the client due to delays, unfinished work, or of property, equipment, or spaces -

Client-supplied materials: If the client provides materials for the job, we are not accountable for any defects or damages arising from those materials. -

Unauthorized modifications: Any damage or issues resulting from changes, misuse, or tampering after the work is completed are not our responsibility. -

Other: Certain tasks (e.g., those involving structural problems or hidden hazards like electrical or plumbing issues) may involve additional risks. we will take reasonable precautions, we assume no liability for damages caused by these risks.
MARC'S MOBILE SOLUTIONS will only be liable for direct damages resulting from our negligence or failure fulfill the agreed work. In such cases, liability is limited to total service fee paid by the client. The client understands that some repair or maintenance tasks uncover additional issues or damage that were not visible at the time of booking. We are responsible for these underlying or newly discovered issues, nor for their repair. It is the client’s responsibility to secure all necessary permits, permissions, or compliance with local laws before work begins. MARC'S MOBILE SOLUTIONS is not liable for any fines penalties, or damages due to non-compliance with local regulations.
Additionally, we are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, consequential damages, work performed by a third-party subcontractor approved by the client, or any tasks outside the agreement.
Materials
Unexpected Delays
MARC'S MOBILE SOLUTIONS is not responsible for delays or failures to perform services due to circumstances beyond their control such as extreme weather, accidents, illnesses, power outages, other emergencies, or unavailable material specific to the service(s).
Client Responsibilty
Clients must provide accurate job details, ensure property access on the scheduled date, remove pets, valuables, and fragile items prior to work commencement, and comply relevant by-laws and permits when necessary. We reserve the right to terminate service if unsafe conditions arise or if our staff is treated inappropriately.
We reserve the right to modify or change our terms and conditions at any time. You are responsible for reviewing these terms.
